Project #3- concept and mood

1. the thing that attracted me into reading B-24 was the title for how, at first I thought it was about a B-24 bomber in war world 2. However, it was completely different from my expectation because the story was set in Victorian times in the UK. Plus, it was a story about how some house robber got framed of killing someone's husband.

2. The mood that was to put in the painting that I'm making is rough, shady, and non-friendly of sorts

3.The colors that be the best choice to portray the mood I'm trying to go for are the following of dark shades of blue, brown/ bronze colors to give the setting that it seen better days, and or add bits of harsh color like red. Now the shape language is going to the following of sharp edges and rectangles but, the dominant shape for the piece is going to be triangles (maybe). Also, there's going to be harsh lighting to portray a sense of endangerment or non-friendliness.

  1. All great comments. I'm glad you're also thinking of the shape language! Good picks! To play with the sharp edges, triangles, and rectangles, you can use patches of light hitting the walls and floor.
